An independent wholesale lending and insurance contractor since 1994, Mike Fehrenbacher draws upon 14 years of experience as the chief executive officer of MidWest Funding Bancorp. After establishing this mortgage banking, title, and brokerage firm in Batavia, Illinois, he grew MidWest into a national network of more than 40 branch offices that employed over 200 loan officers from the West coast to the east coast. Mike Fehrenbacher led the firm to recognition as one of the top 100 lenders in the United States before ultimately selling the company to FSCM Bank in 2011.
Outside of the professional arena, Mike Fehrenbacher is a dedicated triathlete who has completed events across the country, with a focus on the Midwest. Some of these triathlons were long-distance Ironman Triathlons, events with the reputation of being among the most grueling one-day sporting competitions in the world. Mr. Fehrenbacher also enjoys golfing and playing baseball. In an effort to support younger athletes, he referees varsity, junior college and Division III basketball games in the Chicagoland area.
